About Me
From Czech Roots to Pine Island Living
Originally from the Czech Republic, Romana made the move to the United States in 1986, beginning her journey in the Tampa Bay area before settling on Pine Island in 1989 with her husband. Over the years, Pine Island has become more than just home—it’s a community she truly loves and cherishes.
With a background in the restaurant industry and as co-owner of Froggy’s Bar for 23 years, she has had the pleasure of connecting with both locals and visitors who are drawn to the island’s unique charm. Whether welcoming seasonal residents or those planting permanent roots, building relationships has always been at the heart of what she does.
Her passion for helping others extends beyond business. She has spent time supporting the community through initiatives like Meals on Wheels with the Beacon, as well as assisting friends with staging and redecorating their homes—an experience that naturally led her into real estate.
She believes every home tells a story, just like Pine Island itself. Its character, beauty, and close-knit community are truly one of a kind. She’s proud to call this island home and is dedicated to helping others find their perfect place here.
